Making RING - Special hammer texture pattern
I made a special ring by applying the hammer texture pattern I made myself.
Depending on how you hit it, a unique pattern is created.
I hope you enjoy this video.

I admire your metal work with silver and gold. Wish I had met you when I was visiting family over there. I have a gold necklace that my mom's uncle gave to her before they moved here to the states. Been trying to figure out something to do with the chain to incorporate it into something that I could wear on a daily basis. You seem like the kind of person that could make something that would work.

Another beautiful creation, well done. What were you spraying on the ring, before you applied the Camelia oil please? Thanks for posting this

Nothing worked before using camellia oil. thanks~
I am a big fan of Keum-Boo, you were the first that allowed me to see its application and I've been inspired by the look eversince. Do you make your own Foil or do you buy it in premade? Either way, I enjoy your videos and your work as a fellow goldsmith :) Stay safe.
@SilverMeister

I used to make gold foil myself. Because I needed a lot... But lately, it doesn't take much, so I buy a little bit whenever I need it and use it. Gold foil are purchased from offline stores in Korea. Thank you very much. I wish you good luck always

Beautiful ring that you have made and did a wonderful job making it!! Is that a scar from a burn on your hand. I often wondered but with you putting a sabe on it I wasn't sure if it had healed completely yet. Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up

Did you make the texture hammer? I love the texture it creates and can’t find one anywhere.
@SilverMeister
The texture hammer was made by myself. It is made by applying nail polish or lacquer to the hammer head and corroding the rest with nitric acid. I will make a video of making this myself later and show you. kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2uduq6oYbqpiqg.html
