In this sound design video, I wanted to share a few key techniques to make retro and synth wave sounds that we all know and love.

Yo! Nice vid!! I would love a tutorial on how to make some cool woodwinds instruments. My favorite woodwind preset in Pigmentd 5 is Haruto’s Woodwinds. I’ve tried reverse engineering it, but I’ve failed. To see a tutorial on how to make a similar sound would be EPIC!!

Great tutorial, Jon. You've convinced me! I'm getting Pigments. It is half price (as of July 7, 2023) from Steinberg. No, that's not a mistake, Steinberg. They also have the V collection at half price, I'm getting that as well.

Pigments is such a great synth that I cannot praise it high enough. You'll fall in love with it. And the V collection has so much to offer its pretty crazy.
