I would like to see video all the way through, this is the first time I'm making a fancy shawl for my daughter and can use all the help I can find. Thanks for the head start on things very educational!

On the first line you started beading then you over stitched to lock the beads into place. At the point where you stopped on the first starting row, how did you return to it to continue on? You didn't show that part. Thanks.

This is so awesome Juaquin...great video. I taught myself to bead so I could bead my graduation cap...wish I would've watched you first! I'm sure it would've been a lot easier if I did. It took me about 40 hours, but I got a lot of compliments and I honored my tribe. Anyway, one thing that took me so long was sorting through the cheap beads I bought. Does anyone know where to get good quality beads?

crazy crow has good beads. I use size 11 but the smaller you get the more detail. 11 would be what I'd start with to get used to it.

Loved your video! I've recently learned how to flat stitch, but one issue I'm having is it likes to curl outward. Which I'm assuming is because I'm making it too tight. I also noticed you bead from the outside in. I usually start from the finer details like your warrior first. Just curious as to if you tried it that way and why you might prefer to start with the border and larger coloured areas first.

The problem I'm having, is beading closet in the middle...the question I have is without confusing anyone, is...how do you hold your beads down with outer material in the way?...or, do you use the.."push needle through down to the hard surface, then lift your piece and pull the needle down through? For me, what I find easy is to hold in to my beads with my thumb, esp when working with circles...I was hoping you'd show the technique on how to bead closer to the middle of your piece...please HELP! #feelingfrustrated#
