I hope you enjoy the process of putting this guy together! He’s heavily inspired by his appearance in TATMR (Thomas & the Magic Railroad), but not an exact replica. I like to put my own spin on things here and there. I liked aspects of his model throughout the entire run of Thomas & Friends.

Nothing is ever easy with Percy. He looks really good! When working with car paints and enamel paints I've learned it's best to put a clear coat on top of it before doing anything else since they aren't really made for plastics

S5 is so aesthetic!
I recommend using tail light tape for the pinstriping. I use it on my Lionel Thomas customs and it works great

Your Percy looked kind of better than the original prop,Percy‘s whistle also sounded cute at the end “ perfection👌😌 ‘
Percy looks wonderful. I admit that yeah, he’s always been a strange one, especially since the old tooling for him Thomas & James is really dated at this point, having all these flaws. Not only that, I wish in real life that an engine like Percy existed, as 0-4-0’s are very obscure ones, especially since they didn’t have bunkers or could go at long distances or handle yard shunting in real life. In fact, only recently in my series, I actually crafted a backstory for him. But your model so far looks great when trying to patch up those flaws. I can’t wait to see more.

Hey man I had a few questions about the modeling 1.how do u get those accurate faces they look SOO cool 2. What scale is this? 3. Do u think these would be good Forbes beginner modelers who have no idea how to model? Or would suggest trying other easier models before these Thomas models?

1. They are 3D printed! They are made by @the_chairlord on twitter! 2. HO/OO 3. I don't know if I'd say these are beginner projects, I definitely had a challenging time myself and while I'm no pro, I'm not exactly a novice. I would say start small and go from there. :)
