I'm not Christian, but the idea and tradition of Communion is so beautiful, and the dedication that these Sisters have to what they are doing and the reason they are doing it is mighty impressive if you ask me.

Sister thank you for your contribution to all of our lives. As a young girl many years ago, I chose to work most Saturdays at our local Convent in South Louisiana, not working as a laborer but simply curious about the lives they led and wanting to contribute in the only way I knew how. My childhood was filled with memorable moments spent helping the Nuns with their chores while they helped me grow older. They were not only my mentors, they became my friends. I even recall the Nuns helping to pull my loose tooth using the string attached to a door knob technique! Ha! I am much older now, having recently lost my father to cancer. This video helped me, not only to reflect on those special moments of my childhood, spent with my friends at the Convent, but to help me appreciate just how much they meant to my life. Thank you.

In Mexico they sell the left over bits from the wafer making. You can buy rectangular wafer sheets with a bunch of holes in them. You can also buy wafers as a snack. They are called Obleas. They are the same basic concept as the communion wafer expect they often have food coloring and are bigger.

Michael Z Baptists believe communion the same way as Episcopalians, Catholics, and other denominations. We just don't do acolyte, you known when you carry the cross marching in. In a Baptist church, we sing and praise God then the pastor or preacher preaches the word of God, then we have benediction and the pastor tells the congregation whoever isn't saved, to come up and take a chair and confess that Jesus died on the cross. We baptize by immersion not by sprinkles.

Bathsheeba, David's wife, was King Solomon's Queen Mother. In 1 Kings 2, Adonijah approaches the Queen Bathsheeba to ask her to intercede on his behalf with King Solomon. When she asks her son for Adonijah's favor, King Solomon says "Make your request, my mother; for I will not refuse you". This is a parallel to the New Testament, John 2, when Mary intercedes on behalf of the wedding couple to Jesus about the wine that has run out.
