Emma Stone said she thinks of this film as a RomCom. It's a send up. No cow is sacred. The responsibility and audacity of the momentarily intense and expansive sexually explicit scenes is itself worthy of an Oscar. Others have treated it as an external. Here, in keeping with the character development, we see her add to her understanding of sweets and violence. Stone at her strongest.

The cinema was created for films like this, you have to see the film in the cinema and not at home as a stream. The backdrops are fantastic, such beautiful images deserve to be seen in the cinema.

I’m so glad Lanthimos has got big enough to attract a budget of this size to realise his twisted dreams.

This movie should win a lot of awards. It could rightfully win all those for which it's nominated although it won't because I'm sure there are others deserving as well but it deserves to be a multiple award winner. Emma Stone is just unbelievable in it and so is everyone else in their roles but Emma Stone and the filmmaker shine especially here

I do adore Yorgos' old films like The Lobster, killing of a sacred deer, and Dogtooth. But this was a masterpiece (knowing that it's Hollywood big budget film unlike his other films which i was worried before seeing it), felt a bit different than his style but who cares, i liked it!!

Is this what passes for "Behind the Scenes" these days? Absolutely shameful. Show the process, show a full take, show the lighting and setups, interview the people building the sets and the costumes and the crisp pastries. The making of the Lord of the Rings should be the target but nobody seems to even aim the right direction

@@TheKatxRose It still happens sometimes. Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio, Mad Max Fury Road, and The Witcher had pretty good bts from what I remember. But it's less common that they're anything but a glimpse

@@TheKatxRose and I know the reason behind it too. Back in the day bts was a selling point for the dvd, which often needed the extras in order to sell better. Nowadays dvd sales mean nothing. Bts isn't a selling feature of the dvd anymore, now it's a selling feature of the movie in theaters. Just a snippet to show you that this film was made with care and you should see it in the theater. It's sad, but it's just another trailer

A bit boring and too long, but outstanding production design.
