It had a few SMALL flaws, but... After a NINE YEAR wait? It was worth it! I absolutely loved it, and love that they stuck to the base material instead of following the rest of Hollywood down the toilet. Loved how it had almost.. an 80's movie vibe, I appreciated the hell out of that! And welcome to all the new fans :D

If this movie was really for the fans, it would’ve stuck with the original story instead of Emma, creating her own corny stupid story. This had nothing to do with Scott’s idea or vision at all. It’s extremely sad to see his dream get crushed like this. And it’s even sadder that the Fanbase is not defending him for it.

@@cheezi1141 look it up. Scott himself has made posts about this many times saying that there has been a lot of creative differences, and nobody wanted to go along with what he was pitching, so they basically stuck their spoon in his pot of gumbo and started making their own story out of it. you seriously need to do more research before it calm and think about something like this. And the fact that you’re OK with how this came out is even worse. Nobody wanted the movie to be based off of the books because the books is not what made this franchise big. It was the game. It was supposed to be about a security guard, sitting down watching the cameras in suspense trying to stay alive from these killer animatronics. They also shoved at least three games worth into one movie which is so dumb. And how are you going to tell me that in the end when the purple guy says “ I’ll be back I always come back” in the final scene works? Like we just met the guy. Why would he say that when it’s our first time seeing him. But then again, you’re not a movie critic, nor do you have the skill to critique this movie properly.

As a somewhat FNAF fan myself, I approve of this movie. They got every placement right, Bonnie in the closet, Chica in the kitchen, and of course, foxy in the hall. I really loved how every part of the movie was. To the detail of Freddy's gang to how you could make this come to life! Every moment I loved, to every *d-e-a-t-h* to every moment! I'm just going to admit it though, before the movie came out, I thought Carl was chill, until I see the movie to realize he's probably a ankle biter. Mat Pats appearance was just PERFECT to me! And most important of all, thank you Scott for making FNAF, without you, this would have never happened.... :]

Saw this movie at my school's theater since they were doing a Halloween showing and it was SO MUCH FUN. The whole crowd was just college students and we all were teens when the games came out, so we were all just laughing and cheering and having a blast whenever something cool happened. Like the intro credits everyone was hyped, when Matt Pat showed up everyone was losing their minds, whenever there was actually like the gore parts we were all dead silent in shock, and when the Living Tomb Stone's song came on for the credits everyone was singing along. Best crowd experience I've ever had, it was such a fun movie.

When something is made with love and passion, you can see it, not just feel it. That's why even if the FNAF movie has its flaws, it will always be miles better than something like the Halo TV series, with triple the budget. Love and passion does not make a movie good. You need to get that out of your head immediately. @@derpybird2039 do you ever wonder why Chris gave it such a bad movie review? Because that’s their job. Their job is to critique a movie to a T. Oh, but honestly, we don’t even need the professional critics to critique this because any common person would also know that this was total crap. You have yet to make any claims defending this movie for what it is. Just because Emma did some research to find some lore that nobody knew about or at least the majority does doesn’t make it a good movie. I could also throw in some lore and make a fan made movie and posted on KZread and Collett the greatest thing ever and all the Fanbase would love it because it shows their favorite characters. Doing it for the Fanbase is not a good idea because it leads to nothing but cringe. How do you further the movie after spoiling every single part that makes the franchise special all in one go very sloppy and poorly? Please explain because I don’t think you can. Also I’m not here on a total rampage. I’m definitely here to listen to somebody who does have a good response for this and I will take it into consideration, but I have yet to find anybody with a brain that can articulate their actual feelings towards this movie and give a good honest review about it. So maybe you might be the first so if you can enlighten me, that would be great.

@@Woter_X If the movie wasn't for the fans everyone would hate it because it had such a low budget and wouldn't be able to do anything. The film was a starting point for a series of films (which has been stated multiple times) so the future films could expand on things more and have higher budgets to do more exciting things. You all expect so much of people who were given so little to do anything with. Also you have yet to make any decent claims either so maybe work on your argument skills before getting into these things. The way the movie tied together so many aspects of the games and really delivered was so amazing. I have been into the games since about two weeks after the first was released when I was 14 years old and now I'm 23. I have awaited this movie ever since the day it was announced and I could have cried through so much of the movie. I am so appreciative that they kept fans in mind and I could not be more satisfied with what we got. As a seasoned FNaF fan, I successfully was jumpscared multiple times, shocked by some of the most thrilling and spooky elements and scenes that we've only ever really imagined in fan works, and gained a new perspective on the franchise as a result. I saw the movie yesterday with two others who are treasured to me that have loved the games for years too and we all haven't been able to stop talking about it. We all plan on going to the theaters to see it again. Remember, the critics are paid to write the most scathing roasts and reviews, but the fans know what's good!!!!

As a FNaF fan since 2014, I absolutely loved this movie! Sure it had some flaws but overall I think it’s a great movie! Not perfect but it’s fantastic. I in fact love it! I rank it a 9/10 for FNaF fans! I wish it was more scary and the story was better but that’s kinda it! If there will be a second FNaF movie, I hope BlumHouse and Scott take notes of our criticism and make FNaF scarier and a better story that makes sense for everyone!

I actually really respect this review of the movie, the story definitely was not the best, that’s clear for me, and I think I payed to much attention to the negatives when watching it. So im gonna watch it again and actually appreciate it for what it is now. I think it’d be cool if we got a prequel about afton and the making of Freddy’s but that’s just my opinion

Thank you for your hard work. Rest assured that 95 % of the viewers love it and 5 % just try to be "cool anti". We love the movie. We love you all. Thank you.

It was wonderfully done. I remember being in highschool when fnaf came out, I’ve enjoyed and loved the franchise ever since and hoped for a movie one day. I’m so happy to able to experience this in the theatre. What a cherished memory, and I’ll have it forever.
