Very cool build so far! Although I think all vintage cars like the 964 should stay halogen the warm color just adds to the vibe I think. That’s just my preference though

The headlights look amazing. So cool that the outer lens looks totally OEM, but the light is super modern. I'm gonna be the one to say it.... now the 911 desperately needs a paint job. Ol girl deserves to look her best.

Those lights are sick. Any nasty car build has to have nice headlights, change my mind. The Porsche deserves a better head unit than that Sony junk. It needs one of those Pioneer units with the OEL display that has dolphins, and cars in certain years. Just get the newest model year of the stereo for simplicity/relevance. It'd probably be hard to find a vintage unit anyway, but it'd be dope, and the newer one will likely have bluetooth, usb, etc. Reach out to the homie Smeedia up in Washington. He just got a sweet 996 recently, and he's a Subaru guru if you ever need one of those. Dude wants to do P Car things with other drivers now that he has one.

The Porsche is slowly becoming one of my favorite builds. As fun as track builds are, I’d love to see this car stay a street car. Maybe a modern Porsche engine swap so that it can be easily serviced at any dealer along with a full suspension rebuild.

Could you have stuck the carpets under the kicker panels and then screwed the panels in through the carpets? Maybe it's dangerous, not being able to get to the carpet around the pedals.

I think you should go GT4 for a year or two and trade up to a 991.2 GT3 when those are bottomed out. The best thing about Porsche is jumping back and forth from 911 and cayman imo.
