I love how you reminded your audience not to compare their lives to what is seen in a video. Your vlogs are really great as is your works. Very inspirational for my own endeavors 🤍💫
seriously you could spend 30 minutes showing paint brushes and I'd still be interested so kiln unload is super fun to watch ! 😍 love this video full of summer vibes 💌

Just found your videos.. I enjoy watching pottery and your style for designs is really unique and cool..
This was such a beautiful and relaxing video. I love how I Googled ceramic how-tos yesterday and this morning KZread recommended your video to me. I really love what you said at the end about not comparing yourself to others - so effin true! Thanks for this - hope you have a great day!

aw yay I’m so glad you enjoyed!! 🤍
love the kiln unload! would you be open to doing a more in depth/technical video about your process? like what kinds of underglaze you use, what cones you fire to and what type of kiln, what type of clay you use, etc. I love your detailed glaze style but can never get that kind of accuracy with the glazes i use!

as always a great video, love the kiln unload! and i miss seeing the process, you painting and trimming. hope remi is feeling better. also a question, how do you deal with the anxiety of creating new pieces and not comparing your work with everyone else’s?

thanks Sara! lots of process in future vlogs to come, for some reason that month I only found myself picking up the camera when everything was finished! though this defs would've been a fun one to show process for, maybe if I make more similar pieces. that is a GREAT question (I actually have it saved for a future Q&A video I want to do) but short answer - keep in mind that everybody is on their own creative journey and not one single person has the same experience as you! if what you're making feels true to you, you're on the right path. your only real competition is your past self, and if you're growing, you're good :-) (also spend less time on instagram looking at what everyone else is doing ahah) - I know that sounds so simple in theory but I wanna go into it more in a future video! 😘
Love kiln unloads!

I am living vicariously through watching you unload your kiln because I have a new kiln which I have not learned to use yet. It is very frustrating. I wanted to ask you what kind of clay that is that you’re using on lots of those pieces that’s kind of a tan color? And thank you for your channel we enjoy it. 🙏🏻😊
You’re beautiful!!!! Keep posting 💐🌱🌿

Welcome back Lauren! Love the kiln unloads, keep em coming 😍 haha I was wondering how you make the vinegar solution? Do you find that it’s effective in dealing with cracks? Thanks so much!
@fromtreetosea
2 жыл бұрын
thank you so much!!! it's just regular ol' white vinegar poured into a little bottle with a dropper - I find it works on super minor cracks but doesn't do much on anything significant - though I almost always still try it on bigger cracks on the off chance that it helps 🙃 I have saved a couple small cracks on mug handles using it!
I love your pieces!!! Also where did you get your hair clip lol!!?

Hi! I love watching your videos when I'm sculpting. I was just wondering what clay do you use? as I want the speckled look on my clay when it's fired, it's not a glaze that speckled look, is it? thank you & hope to recieve a reply
@fromtreetosea

I use clay from the brands Tucker's & Plainsman (both Canadian clay companies)! it is the clay itself that is speckled, and I exclusively use cone 6 clay if that helps :-)
Love the Yoga gal lol
