Making My Own Bulldog ELECTRIC Trailer Jack | DIY | Saving $500 In The Shop!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Update: I used materials I had laying around, I would suggest buying a short piece of 1" ID Steel Gas pipe and flange rather than the piece of pipe I used and the smaller flange. This will allow you to screw the pipe into the flange and you could pin or spot weld it in the flange, then just cut the pipe to right length and will slide over the existing jack shaft.
I was shopping for Bulldog electric jacks for my dump trailer and when I saw the price for them for 10k 12k capacity I decided to fabricate my own with spare materials kicking around the shop

Projects, like this, make better welders.😎 Those cheap winches from HF are useful for many adaptations... power caster... lawn irrigation trencher/pipe layer...
