    That really looks sharp! I always wanted a truck with teardrop clearance lights. They look so nice on the roof. Thanks for the shoutout! Awesome review as always! 😃👍

    I stumbled across this video while looking to wig wag my tails and reverse lights. This is great and plan on doing this as well. What diodes did you end up using?

    Great timing. I’m in the process of retiring a M151 and am looking for something fun on the blackout lights. I’m using 1156a led replacement bulbs and removing the cat eyes. It will be pretty bright. Flashing will enhance this application. Great job on your truck. My favorite color besides OD green.

    Very Cool! My Dad always talked about the M151s when he was in the service! He has some pretty cool stories of doing things you just "shouldn't" in them. He was a mechanic, 7th Army.

    How did you stop the truck from over riding the flashers when the markers are on?

  • @1D10CRACY

    @1D10CRACY

    I didn't. That wasn't a feature I needed. But you could power a normally closed relay to the same power line feeding the flasher module. This relay would break the factory power feed going to the clearance lights. This would solve your problem.

    Here we cant have any type of strobs without a permit. There is more to the laws, but for mose part you will be given a ticket

    Talk about a buzz kill. ;). Here we can have them, we just can't use them while driving under normal conditions. They can be used in the "presence of a vehicular traffic hazard requiring unusual care in approaching or passing". They also cannot be red and or blue, as that would be impersonating a person of the law. Other than that, we are good with them.

    I'm sure it depends on the state, the colors used and if you are going to use them while driving on the road. This is a service truck and they will get used as hazard lights, never while driving on the road.
