Heat the bowl to 500 degrees in the oven first. Or do as I do keep the pot on the stove with the Milton crystals don't forget to pull the slag layer off take a fork and get the top layer of slag off soon as you see it start a Sheen over do a tap tap on it and then when you feel the crystal bobbing up and down clear the slag from around and pull you will get a big Crystal

Do you still have the slag from all the bismuth melting? I have figured out how to recover the bismuth from it using a furnace.

Fantastic.... And there was me thinking the Lexmoto Vendetta was the most beautiful thing you'd made a video on! Just read this on Wikipedia... It's radioactive! "in 2003 it was discovered to be extremely weakly radioactive: its only primordial isotope, bismuth-209, decays via alpha decay with a half-life more than a billion times the estimated age of the universe" Think you're ok for a while then 😂😂

Have you thought of trying taller, thinner containers? Maybe growth from sides and bottom together might make more crystals?

@@spicy110 Alternative idea then, what about putting something in the bottom like a mesh or grill to give more surface area to seed from? Have you tried offering a sacrifice to the local crows?

Does the stainless steel have an affect on the crystals forming ? Is it dissipating the heat too quickly compared to a ceramic or crucible type material ?

  • @spicy110

The advised pot is stainless so I don't think that is the issue. The people I have been get larger one's are using a lot more bismuth. I need to find a cheap supply....😗

Same as in the kitchen mate. Probe that shit. Your hotplate could be running at x but if the top is cold could be as simple as a cheap heat lamp or some shiz. I mean I got no idea but I imagine the ambient temp of the room is going to make a huge difference. Hugs and pineapple shoes

A fascinating video and the crystal growth reminded me of the potter's wheel tv interlude in "the old days"! Looking this up I see that Bismuth is safe to use on your curry dishes (honest Reeno), Mind you, although Bismuth was long considered the element with the highest atomic mass that is stable, it has been discovered to be extremely weakly radioactive. Its only primordial isotope, bismuth-209, decays via alpha decay with a half-life more than a billion times the estimated age of the universe. Now that Wiki snippet is going well beyond a motorcycle vlog... Back to the potter's wheel: kzread.info/dash/bejne/moVoj8p9e9LYgag.html

BANG BANG BANG. SHUT UUUP!😳 Relaaax. As we, slooowly melt the bismuth down, into, it’s liquid form. A spicy curry is generally made of lead like materials. 🥱😴 This content would be a wonderful series. TikTok or IG? Looks like you’re just about motorcycles, but people would eat this up. I love your wit. Brilliant. ❤
