Magnificent! Looking at the background I always used to think it must be done with some amazing computer technology, but no, it was a globe and a mirror and then mess with the contrast and colour settings a bit.

Send this to the BBC, you never know, they might use this instead of those dreadful Oneness idents!😃😃

Good thing that oneness was retired in 2021 where we have the new lens idents with the bbc corporate rebrand

Make a 1m loop of your mirror globe

I think they had switched to the blue colour version by the time I could first remember. Not sure when they changed it but I think it was the blue version late 1979. Not saying that was when but my first memories.

yes it went through a few changes after black and white, but i can't remember what years
