Maybe you're just starting out, but this is far from a "Comprehensive DIY Tutorial." You didn't explain anything you were doing or why you were doing it. And the way you did a lot of it was pretty janky. I'm not sure why you were using a hacksaw to cut wood. Maybe you just don't have the tools to do it right? If you made something cool that you like and that helps you, good on you. But I wouldn't recommend anyone else follow this "tutorial" Looks like the thing would break in any number of ways if you applied any sort of force to it at all. Sorry, don't mean to be critical, but if you're going to post something as "Comprehensive DIY Tutorial" it should probably be better than this. But if you're just starting out, then congrats on putting something out there, and hopefully you can get better at this whole thing.

Most people can see what he is doing without needling him to explain every step. Personally I like seeing people build their own tools. Maybe a hacksaw meets his needs at this point- the end result certainly shows that. Maybe he will make a nice little crosscut saw next, then you won’t have to worry about it anymore.
