You should probably place the command block a bit further, you can see the stone blocks after each teleport which takes away the illusion of the stairs being endless.

Could of done it better by raising the command block a little higher so the entrance doesn't show but cool.

In the original game the stairs just keep teleporting you to the beginning. Like walk up a lot of steps and behind you just 1-2 steps.
