MAKING MEALS IN MY MINI DASH WAFFLE MAKER

It's a lazy holiday weekend and I'm making some delicious meals with my mini dash waffle maker. I picked mine up for $10 and I've had a lot of fun making meals with it. It's perfect for just one person, or if you want to serve a meal buffet style where each member gets to prepare their own. I think this option is especially fun for families with children or grandchildren.

My daughter and I did this one day with our big waffle iron. We waffled all the various leftovers in the fridge 😂 we called it “will it waffle” long before that was even a thing. We waffled leftover fried rice, pizza, mashed potatoes etc. so much fun!

i haven't used my mini waffle maker in ages - this is actually a great way to do food prep for breakfast in a quick way. The last time I used it I think I was using either a cookie or homemade muffin mix (it's been that long lol) I bet the three ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe would be pretty cool in a big waffle form. Possibilities are endless with that mini waffle maker!

They do freeze but you can also freeze planned-overs instead of leftovers. When you are chopping onions, or garlic, or even celery, put some chopped in the freezer to grab a spoonful to toss in. Can also use instant mashed potatoes in them, nice and crispy potato cakes.

Hi Michelle, I didn't get a chance to see this yesterday but just finished watching. It was great, I have a large waffle maker so I can do mega amounts at once 😉. It has four cavities so I make a couple of different ones at the same time. You said it's a different kind of video but I think it was spot on, the ingredients are pretty much budget and not that much of any ingredient makes it good to use up small amounts of stuff in the fridge. It gave me other ideas too. I'm glad you get another day off occasionally mid week, that will be nice and it's practically summer. Hope this week goes well for you. Charlotte

I bought a flip top pancake maker. I guess it was a As seen on TV thing from 10 years ago. The top flips down and is used on the stove top. Non stick on both sides. For $1.00 dollar it will be fun to play with.
