I love both ways. I’m from Jersey but started working for a Boston company this year and it’s the only thing I want to eat when I travel there. They are pretty much split down the middle with the two styles there too EXCEPT a woman gave me a style that’s best of both worlds & I haven’t eaten any other way since. She dips the cold version in warm butter😋changed my life😂😂😂😂

Both look like they taste amazingly delicious! I have to try both yummy 😋

CT version everyday all day since it was invented in 1927 at Perry’s Diner in my home town of Milford CT!! Just lobster and butter on brioche, oh my 🤯

The lobster rolls I see online always look UNSEASONED. Just plain lobster meat on a toasted buttered roll. I would definitely prefer these.

I live next door to Maine in New Brunswick Canada and I love them both ways but that buttery goodness is my go to favourite all day. Butter just makes it better.

True Maine fashion not very fancy. Potato bread roll, lobster with mayo, diced onions or similar, maybe diced celery, salt the mix and maybe toss in a squirt of lemon, top with black pepper

Being a Mainer, you made a lobster salad roll, which the tourist mainly get or think our rolls actually are like. For us, it is just lobster in butter on a buttered roll, with extra melted butter on the side, that's it. I will say both look good overall. I personally use a higher quality butter when I make my rolls since that is the second most important ingredient.

Where would you look gor "good quality precooked lobster meat?" Grocery store seafood department? The stuff there, if you can find it, tends to be rubbery. ☹️ The prefrozen lobster tails found there also disappoint me after roasting or boiling and harvesting the meat. My local seafood place doesn't usually have live lobsters or lobster products; just fresh, oysters, and shrimp. Just wondering if anyone has a link or a tip showing how to better locate this important ingredient.

They have Duke's. Walmart carries Duke's all over the country. First time I tasted it was in Utah. And I can get it easily in Ohio as well. Those rolls look amazing, man!! Keep up the great work!!
