I feel like the circle on the intersex flag is also a nod to the symbols for male (♂️) and female (♀️); both feature that circle. and the purple is a mix of the blue and pink that typically represent the male/female binary :)

6:06 I'm so glad you did the intersex flag! Unfutunatly instersex ppl are really forgotten and excluded among the comunity and it makes sad. There is a lot to fight for wen it comes to especifically intersex comunity, the right to participate in sports, the criminalization of sex "correction" cirurgery at birth, the reconigzation of different bodies then just female and male, and it goes on. I'm really happy you included the gay/mlm flag! I never really felt attached the rainbow flag for mlm as it felt too generalised as many other identities got their own more personal flags. Maybe it's just my age showing, but idk, I think the mlm flag is a great flag to give gay guys something thats their own. The colours used are beautiful (much better than the previous version, that felt too washed out and plainly blue). It's just sad that it isn't the most well known yet. Many people still associate the rainbow flag with gay men, so not a lot of creative media gets made for the mlm flag yet. It makes me happy that you actually covered it, though, and the art looks fantastic!

The sheer amount of joy and appreciation that hit me the MOMENT she mentioned Genderfluidity could rival a volcanic erruption- it's absolutely beautiful!! I'm so happy it's represented in such a detailed and stylized way, bringing in motifs like the melting clocks and trees in nature: how nature and most noticably trees change their looks and comfort every season, just like how gender and gender expression changes over time, depending on how comfortble you feel in which gender. it's really confusing and pretty hard to explain without going into detail, but so is the FNAF lore so- i can't speak for everyone who identifies as Genderfluid, but this just kinda how i feel.

Not finished the video yet but an idea for the first flag could've been like the little mermaid , the little mermaid originally was a gay story,. The little mermaid was supposed to represent the writer being in love with his best friend, but not wanting to out himself. Made the mermaid female. I recommend looking into it if this interests you but since you mentioned like upside down water, that was the first thing that came to mind!

Everybody knows it as the strictly heterosexual story because of Disney's adaption, but typically we see in older pieces of media, lgbtq+ people are represented as "monsters" and "creatures" which is a testament to the hardships of being queer. It's very very interesting and I definitely recommend doing some research on it if you're interested!

Being a really big fan of Lavandertowne and her art, I makes me really happy to see her drawing things that are considered bad about me, in a positive light, even stuff like this, with people who you don't know and people who don't know you, makes all fell so much more carefree, like we all are a whole comunity, who came from the same roots of nature. This video was really enjoyable. I liked how it wasn't just drawing, but also informational. And I also liked how the drawings did not just represent the colors of the flags but that a lot of symbolism went into them as well to also match the meaning of the flag.

Seeing this video come back every year makes me happy. I remember watching the original when it came out, having no idea of me being both trans and bi. At the time I watched the original, I thought I was just an odd "guy," but one who still supported anyone in the community because that's what people should do. Years down the line and after finally figuring stuff out (at least mostly, lol) I'm happy to see this video pop up again. Happy pride y'all, you're valid and loved no matter what, even if it's not immediate 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
