I think the city should be ashamed of itself. Very few can dwellers are a "problem". The VAST MAJORITY are good caring respectful people just trying to survive and keep a roof over their head. Its everyone right to have safe habitation. LIFT THE LAW AGAINST SLEEPING IN YOUR VEHICLE!

Youd probably love it after adjusting to it. I can afford a house but prefer my tiny home.

Homelessness is on the rise. I was raised right,I have always saved my money, and invested since I was 16. I have three paid off homes at 25 years old.

You need to understand that the cost of living is different everywhere. I too thought stupidly like this until I became homeless myself at 18 & paid attention to others apart from myself. If you've really been homeless you'll never judge someone else for being in the same position as you unless you know their backstory. Also, we most certainly refuse to forget where we came from, even after success. That's cool you made it & all, but not everyone is you & not everyone has their health, etc... It's called being considerate. You learn how to be like that when you're raised the "right way".

You're making everyone who is homeless seem like garbage. I may not be homeless anymore but I take pride in going through it alone & making it out at 18 with seizure disorders. So you saying "garbage" is also spitting in my face along with others who were fortunate to make it out, which I don't tolerate, that's bully behaviour. You got people who got hurt & lost their jobs that are trying to get back on their feet vs you calling them garbage because as you said, you think they are this horrible stereotype. They are not disgusting, you thinking you're superior because you have things is disgusting & it is showing clearly. Property values did go up, which is what makes cost of living go up. I'm quite fed up with your types treating everyone else like crap cuz they don't have a spoon protruding from their rear. I can cut myself open and we bleed the same you idgot. The only difference is my type don't rely on money & materials to have a good life because when you don't have said materials, you realise what's really important. So nice clothes, friends, nice houses, they all don't matter. There's a homeless issue EVERYWHERE & ppl are telling you what's going on & how they got that way, but people like you don't care & would rather point the finger than wait & listen. Job cuts for ppl who have spent 16+ years in factories, chemo & can't pay the bills, accidents that prevent them from working making them behind on bills. With property values increasing, cost of living along with bills are difficult, whether you have money or don't. These are legitimate reasons that caused them to be homeless. Michael I took the time to ask & get to know the truth vs just watching videos. I don't rely on a youtube video to tell me about the world for obvious reasons. If others told you that all homeless had fleas you'd probably believe that too, sad man. Raising property values & kicking people off their land has been happening for years. There's history about it but as usual, some people are just hell bent on ignoring facts to get their one sided views across. Money is limited & anyone on the hill tops who think of themselves as superior will learn the hard way when money is no longer a necessity. It takes a true homeless to understand & be greatful. So unless you were in that situation, you're irrelevant & know nothing. Just another "man" who thinks he knows what's going on but never experienced hinself. Where is the logic in this? Btw these vans are supposed to be for temporary use for ppl who are homeless & are trying to make it back on their feet. I wonder if they were to replace the vans with BMW's, would it still be an issue? Or would it fit in the property value style you & others are oh so worried about. I took time out of my day to research, make calls, etc.. just to hear the truth on this story...what is your judgmental ass excuse?
