yes you can use any fabric you like. I have made with various fabrics not posted yet. As for the paper, it's just a regular carton. if you feel like it's too soft for you, you can double it. And thank you for watching.

I used cement glue for shoes and white tacky glue. I have used various glues but I think the white tacky glue better. see this updated hat making: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKSuucVqotbNmaQ.html you can find cement glue where they sell shoe maker's glue and the tacky glue can be found at craft store.. That's regular cardboard.

Nice, but I don't feel comfortable wearing hats with the foundation being made of paper. That would damage in wet weather.

There are various materials options depending on what is available to your choice. And just as you would not deep your shoes in the water, so u should also protect your hat.

It's the regular shoemaker glue. The white one is known as craft glue, it's like mod podge glue. It works great with all kinds of fabric but takes longer to dry. I used it more here kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKSuucVqotbNmaQ.html
