    Thanks mate. I won't go into specifics but there were areas that I was pretty strong in but also had some leaks in my game for sure and feel as though i've definitely made improvements in certain areas so it's nice to have that noticed cheers

    How did you learn how to play poker properly? Strategy etc?

  • @SprasesAces

    @SprasesAces

    3 ай бұрын

    Copy strategies from 10 years ago it seems🤩 But nah answering the question properly, I primarily just learnt through watching others on youtube. I never really did any thorough study other than a bit of paid coaching videos that I purchased but I made it to the high stakes/breakthrough wsop score without ever really looking at a solver. Nowadays I use GTOwizard to go over hands which I have a link for in the description

    Do you prefer higher rake ecosystem with more recreational players like ggpoker, or vice versa such as pokerstars?

  • @SprasesAces

    @SprasesAces

    3 ай бұрын

    I don’t play on stars but no I think the rake on GG is too high. Pre rakeback + leaderboards the best 1k players in the field only have a 2/3bb winrate max which I don’t think is very incentivising for professional players

    @@SprasesAces Would that be one of the reason why you would play tournaments instead? you will swing a lot with 2/3bb wr anyway, and £40+-/hr profit is definitely not worth the amount of variance imo.

  • @SprasesAces

    @SprasesAces

    3 ай бұрын

    @waduhek2568 Yeh for sure. Often with the cash win rates in this environment, luck just starts to become your biggest determinant for your results unless you're prepared to grind a huge sample and i've seen such big differences in results at the high stakes between players who I believe will have very similar win rates. And whilst tournaments you can go on some very long periods of running bad, at least you know it's possible to have some big edges even at the higher stakes
