Fragrance Remix Lab Video: Creating a Clone of Angel by Thierry Mugler
Welcome to Fragrance Remix Lab! In this video, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a perfect clone of the iconic Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler. Follow along as we detail each step and ingredient needed to craft this beloved scent.
Ingredients Needed:
- 18.5 ml pure Angel perfume oil
- 31 ml perfume grade ethanol
- 5 drops Galaxolide
- 20 drops Iso E Super
- 5 drops distilled water
- 3 drops dipropylene glycol (DPG)
Step-by-Step Process
1. Starting with the Base:
Begin by taking 18.5 ml of pure Angel perfume oil and pour it into a clean mixing bottle. Add 31 ml of perfume grade ethanol to the bottle. This will serve as the foundation of our perfume.
2. Adding Distilled Water:
Mix in 5 drops of distilled water to help balance the composition and improve the blending of ingredients.
3. Incorporating Galaxolide:
Add 5 drops of Galaxolide to the mixture. This ingredient will provide a long-lasting musk base, enhancing the depth and staying power of the fragrance.
4. Including Iso E Super:
Next, add 20 drops of Iso E Super. Known for its velvety, woody notes, Iso E Super will give the perfume a smooth and sophisticated character.
5. Blending with DPG:
Finally, add 3 drops of dipropylene glycol (DPG). This helps to blend all the ingredients smoothly and ensures a well-rounded final product.
Maturation:
Our perfume impression of Angel by Thierry Mugler is now almost ready. For the best results, we need to let it mature. Store the mixture in a dark, cool place and allow it to rest. This maturation period helps all the components to meld together, enhancing the overall fragrance.
Conclusion:
After the maturation period, your homemade Angel perfume clone will be ready to use. Enjoy the process of crafting your own scents and experimenting with different ingredients to perfect your personal fragrance creations.

Thank you very much i regularly follow your all videos , i have 2 questions intact need your guidance for my better understanding. 1. You used the same ethanol base as you showed in earlier video (glaxo+sendenol etc ? If yes then is this necessary to add DM water here as you already added 5% in ethanol? 2. Usually you don’t use dpg but in this formulation you added so how would we know where to add it and where not?
