This is so amazing (per usual), and am following along with my own Sami’s cosplay! Can you show us how to strap the thigh foam to the body?

This is the one thing I was watching this video to learn. It's unfortunate we aren't told. :(
That looks so cooll
I have ALWAYS wanted to create costume things like this to provide for my wonderful clients and just have fun with as an artist myself!!! Thank you for the amazing tutorials as you make things look so much simpler. Someday I'll have the funds to buy the more tools and supplies I would need. I'm now subscribed! P.S. Wish I could donate to the zoo too but I hope and pray they reach their goal! Those babies are all important.
This helped me alot thank you 💜💜💜
Thank you for this awesome video! I shared this with my fellow samus cosplayers over on facebook
Very useful tutorial. Samus is a badass
I love it when you make armor. Great job. Must buy foam and make some leg armor
Thank you for making this video! I will be using this for my own Metroid Zero Mission Samus cosplay I'm planning on making for next halloween. Hoping to maybe have it done for ComicCon in my area but we'll see.
I live in Nebraska and now I want to go to that Zoo! Also, that’s so nice that you are encouraging donations!

4:35 They do says that hindsight is always 20/20, but there again failure is also a vital step towards success. e.g. we learn from our mistakes.
I live in Nebraska I've been to that zoo soo many times it's an amazing place
Your cat 😻😻😻😻
Thank you for the awesome video! Do you have any more of the cosplay done? I’ve watched the shoe video as well.
Came here for Samus cosplay goodness. I got the Samus cosplay goodness and a round cat as a bonus. uvu
Hey Zonbi!! This is a really great cause to raise funds for. I think it's amazing you're able to talk about it so well in the video too :O I have a question about your rotary tool if you didn't mind answering it. Is your rotary tool hanging off some kind of hook or support when you're using the extendable flex-shaft? Or is it just rattling around on the table, etc. I'm happy to just go out and buy a hook-stand for it but if there was another option available I'd love to hear it. Thank you so much!!

Thanks so much! I use a foredom rotary tool. I have a link to mine in the description if you're interested! It hangs off a hook and it's AMAZING.
Woohoo way to go mossy fox cosplay!!!!
Omg, just amazing!!! Did you remember how much length did you need for both shins?
Cool pants
Dang girlie, you need a paint booth for laying down all that color!

YES I DO!
Do you use measurements when drafting your patterns or do you just eyeball it and fit? These pieces look AMAZING! Your armor shading is always on point and really adds some depth and life to otherwise flat pieces.

Thank you so much! Sometimes I do exact measurements and other times I just "eyeball it", hold it up to myself, and adjust it as needed. Other times I use the duct tape & plastic wrap method to make my patterns.
Can I possibly do it over boots? I'm making a costume for my persona, and the has a boot looking shin and foot bionic leg, and id really like to know
Would love to show you all the costumes I make but there is no way I'm going to joining I twitter or Instagram. I still love seeing all that you do keep up with the great work.
Cool tutorial. I have a question though. Would you ever make a tutorial on MegaMan leg armor?
I’m kinda confused on how you got the measurements for your shin pieces. I’ve tried a few different techniques and always end up not being able to fit my calf in them
how do you measure your thighs/ calves to get the right shape to scale?
Italian chef fingers at :49
How did you slip your feet n the shin guards? I've always used zippers or buckles, because one solid piece is hard for me to slip my feet into. I've never been able to do it lol
Hi. How do you secure the thigh armors so they don't fall off?
How do u decide on what to make
👏👏👏
Can I buy the patterns somwhere?
Wow this looks great! I kind of wish I had an airbrush. Thank you. You gave me some ideas and motivation to finish my own shin/thigh armor on my Sylvanas cosplay. One thing I love about you is you just draw the pattern and go for it. Sometimes being a perfectionist can hurt because you redo your patterns so many times. XD lol
I swear to god she’s the Bob Ross of cosplay. Such a goddess in such a kind little red haired body.

AWW THANK YOU!
I have a question. You can run while wearing it ?
Where did you take the foam?
I have one question, how you wear it?
Do u have Etsy with the patterns?
But how do you wear them?
Also, how do you attached the leg pieces to your leg? velcro, clips, etc.?

I saw a video of this doomslayer armor where the guy uses some long elastics that go over the body, kind of like those vintage pants with suspenders
Wow it's so pretty uwuw😍 but how aren't the pieces fall down? I'm confused ;-; i have fat legs so i think it would just slide down
How do ur thigh pieces not fall down Mine slip down my legs Edit: should I just make them smaller
How did you put them on your body tho? lol
Mmm, bulbous deet juice.
I'm from Nebraska
Oh Nebraska anyone hear about a town that has one person in it
still my favorite cosplayer!!!!!!!! you rock!

How do you get the plastidip to apply so smoothly? Whenever I try to use it it always ends up with a small bubbly texture, even if I use the thinnest layers or thickest layers or anything in between, and it also seems to be less opaque than how yours sprays on... not sure if I’m missing an integral instruction for application or something 😰 do you heat seal your foam before using plastidip? Thanks for your helpful videos!!
@Mossyfox
5 жыл бұрын
It's best if you let your Plastidip warm up for a little while before usage! Get a container full of hot/warm water and let it sit in it,shaking it every once in a while. Once the can is warm, shake it for a few minutes and give your armor a few coats of it,letting it dry between each layer. Warming up the plastidip will help it apply much more smoothly! (Make sure to shake/warm the can between coats as well!)

Mossyfox oh thank you for the advice! I’ll give it a shot!
I've said this so many times and I have to say it again so sorry no money bin dumpster diving have some motorcycle parts and different things and pieces and chunks got some rubber plastic trying to make my own sheets of material thinking of using 5 gallon drums you know the paint buckets and seasoning wood and stuff like that hope to catch up sometime to all of you creators Builders and makers damn this is so awesome one concern though I've seen a lot of people have been content with doing stuff like gluing a visor into their helmets never liked that idea ever want more and yes I probably will have to do that myself LOL have some ideas don't know if any of them at all are genuine but I see that many people have formed the legs and the Torso and the arms hopefully sometime soon in the future I'll be able to say and I'll form the head thank you for your video much love from Connecticut
Absolutely lost my shiz when your "cat" said wow pretty good job mom... Your painting is on point the shading is amazing!

awsome video but creppy seems and grinding as i am not used to from you
I dont understand, why should i donate money to keep animals captive?! Why dont they let the bears live in there natural state, why capture the "adorable" bears, let them be!
This is gonna be so useful for my lucio cosplay. Great video as always
