Crafting Leather and Suede Seat Covers for a 350z | Car Craft ASMR

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

After 20 years of being worn down I give these heated leather seats from this Nissan 350z a much needed DIY facelift in leather and suede, whilst restoring all the surrounding plastic.
You can follow along this step-by-step process with your own seats.
ASMR quiet car crafting. No talking. No music. Just the sounds of the process.

WOW! incredible work! especially on a 350z! my one question is: How do you know which panel to sew in next? or is there a process to do each panel?

It's really a process of reverse engineering. If you see that two pieces of material joined together disappear underneath another seam, those two should be joined together first. Another way to look at it is whatever order you unpick it, you have to reverse in order to put it back together again

@@ValentineAutos Huge thank you for replying back to me! means a lot! I've made suedette projects for my car, and they turned out great (aside from my arm rest (grumble)) but they are sun fading and have since bought Alcantara and just waiting on more other material to start replacing the suedette.
