I liked this very much. I'm in the process of making my first pair of mocs. My issue was I didn't want to use leather strap for the soles, yet I didn't want the sole of the moccasins to wear out either. This was a great alternative. Good tip also on insoles, think I have a pair around here, makes for betteer comfort on the feet. Thanks a million!

just a suggestion but it will be better cutting the pattern from each shoe ans marking them for a more custom fit. Before gluing the soul of moccasin use a wire brush and give the bottom a good scrubbing where the soul attaches.

Some crepe soles are not separate premade soles glued on, but an unset crepe "goo" that is troweled on and vulcanized in place. Perhaps your soles did not receive enough heat to fully "set" for maximum strength. Just waiting for it to dry is not enough.
