I have had more than 50 guitars over the years, many of which I still have. My oldest and one of the sweetest sounding is one by Gaetano Guadagnini C.1826. it has one transverse strut, which is all it needs. Since Torres every luthier seems determined to strangle their soundboards with a web of internal struts. Why?

Beautiful work! I have a question: when you were putting the shellac on the inside of the back, you went right to the edge. Did you sand it away from the glue area before you glued the back to the sides?

He would of had to. I made this mistake on my 2nd build. I complete nightmare 😬

Mr. Sinichi, What is the neck angle offset for a flamenco guitar. Classical necks are offset around 2mm. I'm guessing it must be less than 2mm because of the low action needed by most Flamenco players
