Awesome looks good. Rebekah those pigs know you too well. The treats they know you bring them come first.
Good improvement effort. It’s all about ease of use. Easy move of stock is important.
Your videos are getting better and better. But we are still waiting for Rebecca to get a donkey . That would be an awesome love story to watch.Donkeys are awesome body guards . It’s just unbelievable the way your farm has grown and the animals love it . God bless and take care. ❤
So nice to see you two hanging at the fence talking things over. And, of course, the animals hear your voices and become more comfortable with you around. 👍👍👍
Hi from Barcelona!
We visited Hershey a couple years ago and toured the tourist factory. Was fun. Enjoy the channel
Evan ... for the sheep leave 1 feeder low for the little ones and put the other feeder 1 board up for the adult sheet on the other side with the cows ....
Everything is looking nice.
Get you a dewalt power hand planer for notching out those posts for the gate latches. They make it a lot easier.
Enjoyed watching. ❤❤❤
Great job looking great keep up the great work love your videos thank you
Thanks for the video. 🤠
Hi guys... cool video as ever. You may want to think about a different lock for the little gate you made.... when i had sheep they didnt take very long to work out how to open gates... i ended up putting a similar thing you did but it was more substantial and had a spring clip similar to one you would see on a crane lifting hook... i will try and take a photo and send it across somehow. Cheers Mark
Enjoy your videos.
suggestion for the small gate especially the hook portion should have a spring loaded safety to keep industrious goat from being able to push up there a spring loaded that push locking peace that prevents lifting up until pushing the locking section back so hook can be lifted up out eye or staple
Great Video.. I learned something new today....
I must give you credit. You are really good at finding solutions for big and small problems. Really like your channel!
Have not seen the dogs lately. Have been enjoying your informative and entertaining videos for some time. Please keep them coming
Your small gateway for the sheep in Scotland we call them a Lunky Hole it enables farmers to move sheep around without cattle, usually built in stone but are useful in any fence. Excellent video as always.
Cows can get themselves into so e of the darndest places if they really want to. I've got a lot of experience with them doing just that 😂
where I work we run labels for Hershey and ruckers candy and we get free payday and heath candy bars when they come to pick up there labels a couple boxes of each and Ruckers candy is who makes the candy for Rural King and boot city and Cabela's so if you are at Rural King if your in the candy section there is a chance that we ran the labels and for the Kermits candy brand that Rural King sells
drill 1/2'' drain holes in each end of the trough for rain water to drain.
Clever use of both the large and innovative little wooden gate. Will be interesting to see the sheep feeder progress. Always interesting to watch your progress. 👍👍👍
Hi Evan, A few people I know that raise pigs get pop tarts and granola bars from the factory clean ups for next to nothing and they feed it to their pigs food for thought

Nice video. You have a really nice place.
Nice job Evan🙂
Nice job on the gates ,
You have so many skills up your sleeves! Pleasure to watch as always.
The barn yard is looking good Evan nice job on the gate install can't wait for the next video thank you for sharing
Looking good! My husband and I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for sharing! God bless you.
You guys do a fantastic job on your farm. Your skills doing projects is top class. Your wife also does amazing work. Your animals are extremely well taken care of and healthy. Very nice couple
The everyday improvements you make are marking the farmstead just that much better. Even the things that don’t work as well as you wish teach you valuable lessons on what is best for you and your animals. You and especially Rebecca have such a good relationship with the animals and whole farmstead for that matter. Keep up the great work. Pigs sure are growing fast. Thanks for taking us along!
How about butting a strong wheel on the gate mate great video as always
Been there, done that!! World's biggest drywall screw
GREAT job Evan! Looks and works perfect!
15:49 Yeah, putting both troughs side by side like that won't allow enough space for bodies. I had to put a gap between my troughs in order to fit the adult bodies up to the troughs.
Hello Rebecca & Evan
I would not be surprised, until the cows grow taller, that they will be able to get through the smaller gate. 😂😂😂
Your videos always make me smile. You have so many challenges that are funny. Good thing you do not get hurt . Fun to watch
What a great job you 2 do around the farm...I enjoy how you explain what and why all the jobs...take care and have a great summer out there...Jim & Sandy in Iowa
Does the area smell like chocolate when the Hershey plant is running? I grew up in Hackettstown, NJ which is the headquarters for M&M Mars. When the M&M's plant was making a product run, the whole town smelled like chocolate! Take care and God Bless.
Mooovin on up! 😅
This is the best show ever, really down to earth 👍
use the bigger tractor. A lot more lifting force on the 3pt. I have the same problems here is SW Virginia. Hard red clay. When its dry, it's like concrete. I usually end up using a backhoe to make the holes for posts or trees/plants.
while it would have made the gate opening smaller it would have been cool to have been able to move the original post and latch the big gate to it Also , but moving the post would have been "fun"
Looks like you could fashion a tin roof over goat feeders off your fence.
thx
..LOOKIN' GOOD, KEEP SAFE..
You are getting rally proficient at installing gates 👍
Love your work ethic. It's inspiring!
When using the bigger auger in a smaller diameter hole as soon as it starts to grab don't let it go all the way down use you three point and pull it up and drop it back in until it grabs again and keep repeating until you get the depth you want. Hope this helps
I think you did a good job there Evan. Sometimes you have to try new ideas for find out what works best for you and your animals. Good luck on the goats feed trough, I know you'll get it there. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a good day!
Good job, nice updates from things. Keep it up
The gates turned out great😉 God bless.
You guys make a great video. Have a great day. May God be with you
Try a slide up and down gate out of plywood and unistrut
I'm thinking that instead of an auger, you might try and get a used core-sample drill for the clay.
I hope your gate for the sheep and goats works. When I was a kid we had a jersey cow that was an escape artist. She would get down on her knees and crawl under things to get out. I can relate to your issue with digging post holes in summer we had some places on our property that would harden like concrete wen it dried out.
I don’t like rain on your parade. But the open for the sheep and goats is pretty high. If the cows want their they will go thru. Trust me I’ve had dairy all my life. I believe I would place one more board. Just my thinking.
Everything is looking ''ship shape''....but always something that needs tweaking.. l wondered if the pigs got ''brain freeze'' from the frozen pumpkin...
Even , when I dig post holes in the summer I use a bulb auger bit on a drill and drill a with it and pour soapy water in the hole The next day I dig the hole out with a hand post hole digger. That seems to help a lot.
The set up for the sheep looks good but maybe need separating. Take a look at the feeders that K & S Get Out has for their goats. They are each 2 bins that are a little larger than those bins so two goats can eat at each feeder. then they are spaced farther apart. Maybe that might be a solution for your sheep. Love the gates you made. Have a Blessed day.
Spread one set to the left.
👍👍
Look at y'all all fancy! Pretty nifty set up. Time will tell if the cows leave the little gate alone. Maybe space those two sheep/goat feeders apart a bit?
Love the videos. Maybe try to place a small roof over the sheep troths at an upward angle towards the tree to allow water to fall over the small gate you made. Placing the roof on the second beam will make it high enough. Or move the troths to the side of the barn under that roof area.

@@andyrobinson339 lol you are correct
Put you tractor in reverse and the auger will spin the other way😊
Being a homeowner and or farmer one can always need bolts, nuts and assorted items to keep the place running without making a run to a hardware store
You are amazing couple. I’m wondering if you have frost heaves in the winter? We do up here in the north that would have problems with a gate in the winter if it wasn’t high enough. Love the videos, do keep them coming.
Always improving! 👍 What did you do about the flooding/muddy mess in the cow barn? 🧐 God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Could you attach a lawn mower wheel to end of gate and allow it to roll even though really tight?
"its too bad that footage didn't turn out" translation: Evan lost his religion and the audio was unusable. LOL
your tractor doesn't have down pressure on you 3 pt hitch mine did
Chad get a third function for your front loader. 3 point has no downforce. Hydraulic augers that fit on your tractors front loader have the hydraulic downforce of the loader. I have the same clay ground and believe me its much easier

Think you need to separate the goat feed troughs
At 10:31, put some grease on that pin, and spray some wd40 inside the rest, why let it rust?
How did the garlic minuals feed go ? And are all the 4 project for this year getting ticket off ? With the sheep feeding trovs can U split them so the sheep ant to close ?

🐮👍
Could have made a guillotine style gate like your chicken rm
💖💖🎶🎶
WHY DON'T YOU REUSE THE ZIP TIES (cable ties)
check on this. I am not a sheep rancher. But do not over graze sheep. they will eat the roots too. You have to reseed or deal with it.....
I cannot believe you don't have problems with coyotes at night. Have you lost sheep, pig or a chicken at all??
swinging door
Hang them on the 12 ft. Gate.
You don't live in Clay County!
easy solution to feed trough problem is to gradually get rid of the goat pets.
Maybe two less sheep..
Evan, I have a question for you. Have you ever run up against something that you did not figure out how to solve? I have watched a bunch of your videos and I have yet to see you not solve a problem that you had, you always find a solution and fix it and that is amazing.
