I'm with L Cazier. Gale does a TON of R&D for his diff covers. The PPE has horizontal fins inside that will keep the fluid from sweeping up onto the top of the ring gear and forward to the pinion, just like a flat back cover would, if not worse. Love the build. I have a 08 LMM myself. The reason for the gap under the grill is because that's a 1500 grill not a 2500. I made that mistake myself lol.

I noticed that too

Just so you know. The bumper isn’t your issue. The grill is made for a 1500 not 2500. Replacing it with the same grill it originally came with will solve your problems.

@@Midlifeglamping yea same here. I thought he would also notice or think about it. But boy was I wrong. Wrong grill so let’s adjust the bumper up.

Man those side view mirrors would look great if you mixed and matched the color match panel on top with the chrome panel on the bottom. Best of both worlds and a subtle uniqueness.

You put a 1500 grill not a 2500 grill should get a 11-14

@@TruckMaster Josh....are you ordering OEM grills or a off brand? My LMM Sierra could use a new grill but I'm considering if I should go OEM or not.

Banks cover definitely worth money, sight glass, drain plug, fill plug, cooling fins, inside channel to push fluid to the side for axle bearings. Diesel is 4.59 in North pa.

theres gonna be a big gap because you got the half ton grill

My 09 chrome on the front bumper end cap did the same thing. Love them mirrors. Great content as always.

The mirrors look awesome I’m definitely going to put a set on my lly. Diesel is 5.00 in Maine currently.

You should solid axle swap one of your duramax's since there are not to many tutorials to do solid axle swap (👍Good Video 👍)

Them are the exact mirrors I want, have them in my cart on their website and all. Just have some stuff going on and just spent 3k on my truck, did front end, all the filters. Bout to do 30% injectors and 3 inch down pipe.

Learning something every day. Had no idea my 07 1/2 was the last year for non regen system.

Josh ... Keep the chrome mirror trim on for now...my grill looked same also ... I painted the grey honeycomb gloss black and the bowtie also..you should do the Wifemax the same !!!!! ... Nice touch removing the powder coating off the differential cover ribs..thanks for the content

Had the same problem with the chrome on my truck. I sat very Patiently for three nights and literally peeled the chrome off piece by piece using a razor blade. Plastic came out smooth and I repainted it a darker gray to match the rest of the truck.

What chrome areas of your truck did this? My chrome strip on doors are doing this bad, and have attempted to find replacements to no avail, But I’ve thought about attempting to flack or peel it off and maybe paint the plastic underneath? But once you start- ain’t no turning back… so wasn’t sure how it would turn out.

This was on the center chrome piece on my grill. You have to be very careful not to Nick the plastic under the chrome. I wouldn’t try to sand the plastic chrome off, that’s a big problem.

Love the truck it just keeps getting better!Idea for the mirrors I’d paint match the mirror arms and leave the caps chrome!

This duramax is literally my dream truck, i love the way it’s coming along.

5$+ a gallon on Oregon for diesel. At certain stations. I personally liked the red tow hooks. And I think your grille would look cool paint matched

For my 07-10 Chevy had I got a eag metal grill they are heavy and super clean looking and love the builds man keep repping Michigan man

The LMM is my favorite build of yours. I have a red 2007.5 Silverado 1500. I’m definitely going to keep my eye out for a clean red LMM. Personally I like the gold bow tie, but the red is a nice touch

Here in Victoria Australia we are between $1.94-$2.06 per litre for diesel 1 year ago I payed $1.13 a litre

My '08 LMM grille is bubbling as well on the passenger side top corner

My grille did the same thing on my 09 lmm I peeled it all off and raptor lined looks pretty good

Really like what you have done with this and all of your trucks. Just not a fan of the white or any running lights on the mirrors. Just me. I do like the reverse lights and the sequential turn signals. Diesel was $5.19 yesterday. Northern part of VA. in the mountains. Oh, 4+” of snow this morning also.

The LMM is sick. The upgrades are nice. Great video Josh

What's next for the L5P? Have you decided if you're going to install an emissions compliant "tuner"? I have the Banks "Derringer" and love it so far with about 10k miles. With those PPE manifolds and other stuff you've got done I think it'd be incredible!

Honestly go with chrome for the mirrors it mainly because you have a chrome grill it will go good with the truck in my opinion

Very nice upgrades. Looks great. I filled my truck a couple days ago. It was $1.71 a litre. Works out to $6.50 a gallon. I was at 1/4 tank. My wallet was much lighter after.

Oh, forgot to mention a black zip tie in the eyelet of the shackle pin to the shackle will ensure they dont back off and stop a quick thief.

Red mirror caps and mesh chrome grill and aftermarket headlights and tailights also get the matching rear bumper

I seen it today in lansing at 4.89$. And I get it at BJ,S wholesale, in grand ledge, at 4.15$.

In PA where I am, it's not much differnet for diesel. According to gas buddy, diesel is anywhere from $4.00 to $5.30. I think im going to invest in a transfer tank for extra fuel

The ripple effect on the grill is from a buffer, very common unless you tape all the trim off.

You need to do the bow tie on the tailgate now. Diesel is over 5.50 in California..

Diesel is around $5.34 a gallon in Pa

We are at $5.25 in butler PA

Central Pennsylvania diesel is 5.40 a gallon

My 2015 half ton Silverado had the grille delaminate after 2 years, replaced under warranty by Graff Durand. I'll second the guy a few below, look into the Banks diff cover. At least look at his videos.

Do not put use diesel oil on your trailer deck. You understand the term greased lightning every time it gets wet. Go with linseed oil.

Rear diff cover really dosnt help unless you use banks, the fins cant grab any air check out his youtube video on rear diff covers. Looks good though.
