No lie i been making music a long time. Since mpc 2000 before the 2000xl. All samples lol. I started playing on the korg triton but i never understood the scales. You make it easy to learn brother. Preesh!

I'm ordering a piano chord chart this week to place in front of me on the wall in my work area. One huge tip many don't know. Get a chord chart, a lot of chords will be learned through muscle memory. It's not as hard as it looks. Nothing wrong with clicking in notes, but playing melodies and chords helps with coming up with melodies a lot easier.

Bro I almost 98 percent of the time just go straight old school on that $hit! No drum loops, no samples, no arcade or loop supply.. probably why I spend a lot of time making beats. That’s why I make music tho cause I enjoy it.. anyways cool video, I definitely want to try arcade hooked and I need to get a drum machine still

Great videos. A great way to use scaler too is midi it into another vst and put it on one note chords.

I recently got back into it. My skills are really raw on the "creating side". I know what I want to hear, although I have no formal training, I get around instruments pretty good. recently I was told I was a natural. Lol....But I am way behind the game. Scales just scared me me for some reason. Listening to what you said and watching you do it, just gave me life. Plus, I just got "SCALER" to help. I really appreciate it. You'll probably get the first sample of something I do. P.S. I just ordered some Yamaha's, after seeing that's what you use. Not just because you do, but I have heard good things about them, and since I've gotten serious about it, time to upgrade my "see if you're serious" studio monitors. Keep pushing!!!

Good question i use splice for my drums... but you also use the cymatics kits... they are free i did a video talking about the free kits cymatics was giving away. Check it out but more importantly go download the free kits!

Logic X has a stock plugin similar to Scaler - It has all most used scale presets and you can add your own, just an info. And also - I like you because you're sincere and real.

Would just like to ask where do you get those drum loops? You seem to just push a button and you've got a great beat in most of your videos. I just saw on this video that you dragged in a loop and "Boom", great beat to keep the ideas flowing.
