Definitely using these recipes to make lunch for my friends - they all say i can’t cook and i poison the food… they still absolutely love all my cooking and ask for it every now and then , I’m going to be making a cake for them even though baking isn’t my field… i love my friends and family thank you for the inspiration and recipes lots of love from the Caribbean ❤❤

For how my week went, it has been very busy at work and everyone is tired, but the kids started school again. The oldest just started high school (high school here is 4 years, so same grade as last year of middle school in Japan). On the plus side, after a very long, hot, and dry summer, we're finally getting some much needed rain and slightly cooler weather, so everyone is grateful for that. Thank you for sharing your cooking videos with us!

I made all of these dishes for my little sister and brother since they love your channel, when the asked me to make them the food for their lunch they showed me their Ipad and pointed to the screen, I had a lot of fun making these dishes for my siblings since it made them happy PS: Thanks for making my little brother and sister smile at school!

those little potato slabs you made reminded me of a recipe my mom makes! It's not Japanese, but it is yummy! Ham cakes! Made with tiny bits of ham, green onion, and pre-cooked mashed potato seasoned with dill and pepper, molded into palm-sized cakes, coated in skim milk then panko, and lightly browned in a frying pan with just a drop of oil!

Since happiness doubles when shared, I'll share something that made me happy this week. I am babysitting a friend's pets while he is away at college. They're very shy little geckos that often run away and hide when they see or hear me walking past them. Earlier this week though, one of them actually stayed out of his hide to eat even when I walked around him. He has gotten less shy and is becoming less afraid! I suppose that's the magic of tasty food!
