I would suggest buying a plastic "Condiment bottle". There very cheap. Pour your liquid into that and then squeeze the liquid into the tiny containers.

That's a great idea for using up the little bits of wax I get in the summer from my solar wax melter, we always bring a small container out with us for burr comb and scrapings. When I use my solar wax melter (a cooler with a piece of glass over it that I put in the sun with one container on top for the raw wax that has holes in it and a silicone baking dish underneath so it releases the wax that collects) I use a paper towel filter and it does a great job right off, and the little bits of paper towel with dirty wax impurities on it is great for starting the smoker. Last year I mixed it with mineral oil and made cutting board and wooden kitchen implement oil for everyone for Xmas but now that our hives are producing enough honey to sell at farmer's markets, diversifying into lip balm and hand cream may well be a thing for next year. I'm definitely going to make a small amount for myself for this year.

I use a toothpick in front of the spout and into the tube. It helps direct the flow.

What are flavorers of extracts have you used for your lip balms? Do you by chance make lotion bars? As well

Hey there. Stumbled onto your channel because I had just made my own board butter for my cutting boards. My girlfriend suggested I make hand cream and lip balm as well. I don’t really know at this time how to incorporate those products into my line of kitchen items I make, but I am considering it. I purchased a candle wax melting pot. It has a thermometer on it. I heat my mineral oil for approximately 20 minutes at about 148 degrees F. Then I dump my beeswax into the solution keeping the heat the same. It takes about 7 minutes to dissolve. I use beeswax pellets. Do you think I would be able to use the same set up rather than the set up you use? Example, for hand cream, going into the tins, I have a faucet on the bottom of my heater to be able to pour directly into the tins. Secondly, I have purchased a jig to pour the solution into the balm canisters with minimal waste, and also makes the waste easier to retrieve and reuse. Just wondering what your thoughts are on that.

Great video. Could I ask how you handle liability issues associated with selling these.? We have an LLC in Illinois but for now we just sell honey.

yes it can.
