    If having problems with your mill turning, just give it a push/spin after switching on..you may have a 3/4 ohm suppressor on top of the motor..?this is usually the problem...only pennies to replace...

    Nice to see the milled product. I have to use a very small mill which is a modified rock tumbler and I get a very similar looking result which sometimes also clumps like yours. How long do you usually mill for?

    3 hours is more than enough to make good lift and burst powder.

    What mill media do you use and how many? i have the same ball mill Lortone QT12 thank you

    incoldblooderz Sorry just saw your question so a late reply I half fill the jar with 1/2 lead media and then 1/4 fill with comp to be milled I.e 1/4 of the mill jar is empty. I mill for 2 to 2 1/2 hour and it's done.

    1/2 inch Antimony hardened lead balls

    3 FA would work fine for a small shell
