People's perception of what you are is as important as what you actually are...

This is one of those statements that is so unpopular because people have been taught all their lives that assumptions are “bad” Assumptions are bot bad at all, what is bad is what your brain comes up with in regards to what it is that you are assuming hence digging deeper into what assumptions can be really a good thing. You get to know how your brain operates and like the video mentioned our minds are designed by nature to “fill in the gaps” that is why for example people judge people when they first meet them based on their past experiences. Again, nothing wrong with that, that is what it is, we are just pointing out the facts. When you can do nothing but assume, and your mind cannot fill in the gaps and so it starts going haywire, it is remarkable what the human brain does to fill that. And by that 👈🏼 I mean to leave this open ended because this can literally mean anything for any scenario, but look back to any moment in your life and the match it to the statement above, our human brains lie to us and don't want anything to spill over the system and it will flip the world upside down, just to keep you safe 🤣

Idk if that's really true for *everyone* , most autistic people (like me) tend to/make it a point to ask as many clarifying questions as they need until they understand what's *actually* going on. As a hypothetical scenario, let's say that for all your life, every single person you've met has proven themselves to be a liar. You meet another new person today. Based on your own logic, there's nothing wrong with making the assumption that this new person is also a liar. You know absolutely nothing about them, but based on your previous experiences, the assumption that they *are* a liar HAS to be true, right? From the new person's perspective, they know, for a fact, that they are undoubtedly an honest person, but when they realize while interacting with you that you assume them to be a liar, they feel hurt that that's what you think about them, even more so if they try to give you an example or 2 to help you see what they're actually like, and you stick with the assumption that they're a liar because of your past experiences.
Thank youu 🎉❤

This video precisely gives reason TO a God!! Since we have all these funky, large mechanisms to our brain, it's kind of hard to say that no creator designed it.
