Making and Painting a Sunfish Crankbait
Ойын-сауық
Here I cut, carve and sand a crankbait out of a block of poplar wood. You'll also see the painting and airbrushing techniques I used to make this sunfish pattern. Please enjoy! And if you do, subscribe for more!

Ok cool, how do you find using pine, I mean it is readily available anywhere but is their a certain type you use or just any regular pine. Also what do you think about balsa
@LogjamLures

@@CraftyKiwiLures I like using eatsern white pine. It's pretty easy to carve. Just try to get clear, knot free pine. I haven't used balsa yet.

Great video👍 very impressive artwork! How you close those wholes you have put the weights and Rattle in? What is this white powder and which glue are you using?
@LogjamLures

Thank you very much! The powder is baking soda and I use thin super glue which turns it into a rock hard filler!

I love to see your videos. That is art for me! Can you tell me what you use to seal the wood? Is this superglue? Can you tell me the name of the product? And what did you use for the clear coat at the end. Is this UV Resin? Is it maybe also possible to tell me the producer? Best regards from Germany.
Can you share what colors/brand paint you use for the steps?

I almost always mix different colours to get exactly what I want. But the brand is Wicked by Createx.
