Making an alpine garden bed in one season - from start to finish

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hi, today have a garden video for you) I'll show how I built an alpine garden bed. I know rock gardens are not so pipular in the US but they really worth making as they look really great and at the same are nearly maintenance-free after they're done.

Greetings from Ireland, you did a great job and it looks beautiful. I have loads of alpines in containers in the front garden. After looking at your video I think I will plant an alpine bed out in the back garden.

You always go above and beyond to make things extra special. This is lovely. I am experimenting in the garden, and it's gotten out of control! Many perennials I planted last year and forgot about, came up this year. I was so happy to see all of them in bloom however they shaded out many of my favorite plants so i took to the garden shears! I really like the creeping phlox you have here and I think I need more ground cover and less tall, over bearing flowers... then again, my gladiolus are blooming and I couldn't bear to lose them. I guess I need to plan things out... I'm learning and proud that I grew everything from seed and a few bulbs. Even my dahlias were grown from seed last year and are making a grand show this year! Rewarding hobby!

I'm happy you loved it) and yeah, planning is important, I'm working on my front yard now and it is extremely "overcrowded" with plants for exactly the same reason🙈 we, gardeners, are always greedy and want to plant more than necessary😁
