Yes u have a point, since we need to keep it warm with the hot water bottles it shouldn't be exposed too much

If u I get u correctly, are u asking of the foot end of the bed? If so then u see, because u will open one side of the bed if u shld tuck in the 'top sheets', attempting to open one side of the bed will remove all the sheets u have tucked in at the foot end, and disrupt the procedure. I hope u get the picture.

You always starts most of the steps from the bottom. Try to start from top first

Bottom sheets you are to start from top end of bed while top sheets u start from foot end of bed. Where the tucking started with the bottom sheet here is the top end of bed, so its correct. Thanks for the feedback.

No the hot water bottle will keep the bed warm, and should be taken out before putting the patient in the bed

The wrong side is where the seams of the sheets are. Its only with the top sheet that the wrong side will face up for all types of beds.

You are to expose a little of it so that it will indicate that its in the bed. In order for the nurse to be reminded to take it off before putting a patient in the bed.

Do you mean the opening of one side of the bed? It is for quick and easy admittance of a new patient. Since we aren't sure of the condition patient will come in with, we want to be ready for all conditions including emergencies so that we can put her in bed easily

Every sheet has its purpose. Some to cover the patient, some to decorate the bed, some to prevent soiling the main sheet, some to provide warmth, some to facilitate bathing the patient in bed, etc

Are you asking of the counterpane? It's not upside down, it is the right side up. Only the top sheet is placed wrong side up

For admission bed u don't need to wear gloves unless its changing of sheets that patient is already in bed and the sheets are contaminated

Per the NMC component task, pillow was not mentioned in admission bed. So you can choose to bring it if you have a rational for it.

This is an admission bed per the NMC Ghana component task, maybe you are using a different component task. Let me give you just two differences between admission and operation bed; operation bed has only one blanket, admission bed has two blankets; operation bed has dressing mackintosh and dressing towel towards the left of the head end of the bed, admission bed has no such thing.
