The fragrance definitely caused the ricing, but thank goodness it wasn't so bad, it was still workable. You can use your stick blender to smooth out fragrances that have riced. If you use that fragrance again, do minimal stick blending at first and then once you separate the colors, put the fragrance in (as you did) and stick blend out the ricing in each container.

You've saved me tons of time and avoiding mistakes. You are awesome. I'm older and don't have time for too many errors. Thank you, Jerika.

So an update (thank you for kind words and advice by the way jerika) though it being a smaller show and it being just a day and a half long and it being my very first show, I sold over $700 in bath bombs!! People bought some on the first day, went home and used them and came back raving about them! I became known as the dragon bomb lady over the weekend 😂😂 but though I’ve just been in business since December I got my first wholesale offer and a networking offer!!!!! To think I have my first business meetings Monday is hard to believe!

I’ve been using 100% distilled aloe Vera liquid as a water replacement for quite some time! So, I agree with you that it wasn’t the cause of the curdling as I’ve not had any trouble. Love seeing your soap videos again!!

Sparkle me red from MadMicas world have been stunning on that top. I love adding any of the sparkle me mica’s to the top of my soaps especially if there are flowers on top. My favorite ones are sparkly me blue and sparkle me red. U can get that texture again depending on the thickness’s in the soap batter. If ur adding 3 different colors then make them all a significant difference in thickness and then pour. I get that awesome texture when I do my “Drove him Bananas” I love it when the texture feels different in the swirls while ur using that soap.

Hi Jerika Many videos that I have watched when subbing aloe for water say to freeze the aloe so that the lye doesn’t scorch the aloe. That could be why it was curdling. Not an expert but many videos I’ve watched say to freeze the aloe.

This is great I have been following you for my bath bombs and now diving into soap! My only question is I hear a lot of people down playing hemp seed oil because it doesn't have a long shelf life. Thoughts? I would love to incorporate it into my soap line. I am a patreon member and can't wait to get this recipe when I get over there!

Beautiful soap, just beautiful. Have two questions, at what temperature do you usually mix your oils with lye in general? Second question is, do you also warm up your liquid oils, since castor oil is very heavy (thick). The reason why I ask, is because when I combine both (liquid and hard) it gets very foggy and when I put in the lye thickens with just few stick blender turns. Thank you for inspiring us with such descriptive videos, just beautiful.
