Hi, in this video I made a big wardrobe out of OSB. It is not really usual material for furniture making but surprisingly it was a very nice work. This project took me about two weeks. I am so happy with the result.
Thanks for watching guys!!!

Next time you build a cabinet, I would recommend that the top and bottom are inside the side panels, it is much stronger. For the drawers it is a good idea to put the sides on the outside of the front and back so that endgrain Will not show from the front.

I have a lot of OSB from a neighbor. Now I know how to work it and make good use of it in various projects. Thank you.

Did you consider covering the shelves with something smooth to prevent splintering? Great job using inexpensive materials. Bravo!👏🏻

I absolutely love your wardrobe. Hopefully I will do something like that in my room. We recently built out two storey not so big home. I will be using plywood. I guess 16mm

OSB and exterior plywood both contain a formaldehyde-based, waterproof resin called phenol-formaldehyde (PF). Compared to the widely used urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin, PF resins emit relatively low levels of formaldehyde. Yes, OSB or Oriented Strand Board does have a low, but existing toxicity, due to the resin in it. So Dont use OSB for furniture !

Thank you! It works well. Method with dowels worked very well. Maybe doors are quite heavy so it would be better to use 4 or 5 hinges instead of only 3 but it seems that it can also hold it.

I enjoyed the video my friend, good job. The problem for me would be the cost of the chipboard, prices have risen considerably over the last few years and you'd be able to purchase an actual wardrobe for less money than you would the chipboard itself. Mind you, there's a lot of things I don't make anymore as there just not cost effective these days.

Too nice of a job to be done on the worst choice of a wood for clothing. You would always have small splinters in your clothing. Move it to a shade to store tools and make another one for your clothes with at least pine.
