John, as much as I enjoy your finds at the car boot sales (that pneumatic drill for 3 quid is brilliant!)....I enjoyed this vid much, much more. I've just watched it twice. You're a good teacher mate, and you explain things in a very simple, direct fashion....even I can understand it! Top class...can't wait for the next one.

That was a really elegant way to set the tool post to the side of drill chuck Morris Taper to find the angle! Well done Sir John!

Excellent set-up John, I was a bit worried about fingers and chuck jaws until I remembered that the job will be between centres... Still and all, I can see care will need to be taken when doing this... Love your work! Regards Col

I, too, am very pleased with the variety in your fine programs (although I did skip over the brake job video). Keep doing what you are interested in and those who are interested will stick with you! I thought the video showing john working on the car brake was very interesting and well worth watching. He covered such a lot of tips, if i ever had to do that job on my car I would refer back to johns video before starting.

Nice one John, 2 grate Minds think alike, I used my drill chuck to, but mines a chuck key type, so I put the chuck in the chuck lol, but I didn't think of doing it between Centres, well I don't have any dogs any way, so I lathed the other end first then held that in the chuck to do my Morse taper, It just goes to show the difference between a newbie like me, and a prow like ya self, but I'm learning bud, thanks to you, You explain every thing in Lehmans terms, slow and Precise and with me been dyslexic, that's brill for me, just to day, I cleaned and serviced all my lathe just how you showed on ya vid, I can even set my Four jaw Chuck up in Minutes now thanks to your vids, so you really are Making a difference, so please keep them up bud, your Knowledge is golden to the likes of me.
