Making a Purple Leather Reporter's Notebook
I got myself a new notebook and decided to make a leather case to match the purple cover! I use these reporter's notebooks around the shop for lists, etc, and had never made a case for one. This leather reporter's notebook case is made from Weaver's new purple harness along with some scrap bin saddle tan that I had floating around. It's saddle stitched by hand as well.

I love it when Corter tell “I don’t have a design for this”. I love learning how to make leather stuff from scratch while seeing the whole process. Appreciate these type of videos.

Secret is to have that skiving knife extra sharp to begin with and then make sure to strope it before using it.

for these notepad holders I never bother sticking both covers into the holder because it makes it hard to sit flat. Ripping off that front cover is a good move IMO even though you didnt do it on purpose. The top pocket would be good for like holding random paper and cards. Looks dope.

Hello! I just started leather working and was wondering how to discern what a good and bad leather quality is. Could you please do a video comparing different types of leather please? 🥺❤

Hey there! Love this! Quick question. That technique that you do with the flat knife? Can you make a video showing how you do that? For the life of me I cannot figure it out. I have been making leather covers for a couple of years just for personal use. But that one technique has got me flustered. Thanks!
