I was thinking the very same thing it's really sad that Awsome creators are kinda put on a time limit to create something and then some think it's OK to criticize everything from time to concept. I luv this and alot more creative channels and it seems there is toxic behaviour pushed onto and around really cool creators who are just decent peeps doing what they luv and luckily for us sharing that process...

This guy’s videos are hard to watch because he feels the need to show his face in closeup for 3/4 of the video. A lot of youtubers do that- they don’t realize the camera turns the other way too. There are some tubers that I have never seen. They make fantastic videos, and I have no idea what they look like. Too much of the face, I say.

I love the look of this, but maybe instead of clear resin as the base, some dark purple/blue resin, mixed with glitter, would allow for better blending between the body and the shards. Clear resin on the outside was definitely the way to go though.

@@codename495 Yea I gathered it was something along those lines, though I was thinking the heat produced by the curing process could have contributed to how far into the pieces the resin sank by warping the plastic covers. Was curious if a very thin painted on layer first could prevent a bit of it possibly.

CDs are acrylic, that's why they crack, DVDs are polycarbonate for safety because they spin much faster. Edit: Looks amazing! I would keep it out of direct sunlight for extended periods, sunlight tends to blacken writable discs.

CDs are also made from polycarbonate. His DVDs thou seem have been double layer. Which are made of two thinner layers of polycarbonate, thinner material is less likely to crack.

You know you're an artist when you freestyle lines to cut a guitar. I don't play an instrument, but if I did, that guitar would be it!!! You said, in another video, you weren't an artist, I disagree. This project was worth the wait and don't apologize, art is achieved on its own terms. This guitar is absolutely stunning, I'd buy it just to hang it and look at it for hours!!!

One of my favorite project ideas in High School was where we had to make a large paper mache fish & we used a ton of those free AOL cds they'd send in the mail to make holographic scales. Looked SO COOL when we were done. Had a few cuts on my hands & fingers though. Wish more people would do projects with them!
