Making a Noise Measurement with the Optimus Red Sound Level Meters

Ғылым және технология

In this video we'll show how quick and simple it is to make a noise measurement with the Optimus Red Sound Level Meters from Cirrus Research.
The Optimus sound level meters are simple to use but provide all of the measurement data needed to make an accurate assessment of the noise levels.
The Optimus Red sound level meters are designed to be used for occupational noise measurements such as Noise at Work and Industrial Hygiene.

there's one thing missing in this video, and that's if your interested in the max LAS values, make sure that this are in the range of the noise you are studying; don't start a measure right after an event has happened (same if you are in the middle of a measure and you have to pause-rewind) as the levels, in slow weighting, might still be going down and the value registered would be affected by this and end in a invalid measure. Same apply to the voice tags: higher LAS at the beginning by your voice. Regards

sure, I have the 171B and found this on my first job with it. I'm interested in you to get better and better, as I'm very happy (besides this "thing") with my green optimus.
