Really well done video, thanks for posting. One thing I do is spray the bit and inside of the hollow chisel with a dry Teflon spray. Keeps them cooler and eliminates squealing. -Jim

Thanks for commenting, Jim. Very good point. I am going to try that. I also need to lube the rack and gear that drives the chisel down. It was very scrunchy, if that’s a word.

What kinda wood is that

Hi Mikeal. The wood is poplar. Used for a desk that was painted.
