Thanks for another great video! I'm assuming that you trust the parallelness of the rails and squareness of the triangle. If there's some question on those, would you recommend a squaring method for the back fence (and subsequently the miters) with something like William Ng's five cut method?

Yes, parallel to the blade. this method can work for the cross cut sled also. In my opinion, William has one of the best method in making cross cut sled which partially came from European sliding saw method. But, only downside for this method is time consuming (at least to me..). I've made my cross cut sled with the same method as in this video and its accuracy is under .002 of inch. I came up with this method trying to get my inside corner aligned perfectly center to the blade.

What was the level and clamps for? I bet I missed something simple.

Hey Jim, sorry for the late reply. The level and clamps are for holding the fence straight as possible during attaching screws.

Please show us that holster you’re wearing. I don’t care for aprons because the pockets fill up with sawdust. Can’t put my pencil behind my ear because my ears are too big - the pencil just falls out. I end up just holding a pencil in my mouth or setting it down only to have to fiddle around to find where I set it down.

The holster is used in woodworking programs in Cerritos College in CA. I'm going to start selling on my website soon. At meanwhile, you can purchase at wnwoodworkingschool.com/
