Nic over here taking it to the next level! STUNNING work! I can't say "atmosphere" enough. When you said you designed the grandfather clock and wheelchair, like no big deal, I flipped. :D (I originally assumed these were downloaded assets.) Remarkable, man.

@@AbandonedMiniatures can you please tell which software you are using?? btw the miniature turned out to be so awesome .
Wow this was absolutely amazing!!🤩 The lighting, the fact that you built 2 rooms, and how you filmed the final shots! I have always wanted to do a scene in the upside down but I couldn't have imagined it like this... and now I am like duh... of course you have to make 2 rooms to really get it right😄 I haven't started watching Season 4 yet but your scene has really got me geared up to see what they have in store!

Thanks Knarb! Doubling it up definitely made things take longer than expected haha.
Look at that overhead shot in the intro! Yeah, I too find it nerve-wracking to make the commitment to start actually gluing things into a diorama. I certainly push that part of the process well into the Procrastination Zone. However, it really speaks to your DP experience that you wait to glue in the furniture until after you've blocked out the shot in-camera. Smart. Oh-oh, the Inspector has arrived and he does not look pleased with your beam placement. : ) Look at those cobwebs! This is all so hi-tech and sick. I mean that in the best way possible. Amazing work, Nic!

Thanks T-Nu! You always catch the little fun shots I decide to throw in there. Glad it gave you the high tech vibes, I’m looking to keep upping that game!
Always like, it helps the creators a lot.
That was totally rad! It looks just like the Creel house! It's totally accurate!
It would be so cool to see you make a miniature of Brundle's loft apartment from 1986's The Fly. That would be an incredible set, especially with the 3D-printed pods. Love your work, dude! Can't wait for the next one!
Awesome! I especially loved the shot when you panned down from the normal world into the upside down. So good.

@@AbandonedMiniatures Yes, that shot was definitely worth the extra labour of creating two almost-identical dioramas.
Absolutely astonishing work! The light through the windows is very reminiscent of the light pouring through the lath and plaster walls of the Cenobite realm, in the 'Hellraiser' movies. A very cinematic touch. Nice one.
Фантастика!!! Браво!
Great job.
Awesome job!!!!!! Very inspiring!!!
WOW again. I might sound like a broken record here but again, this miniature turned out to be awesome. As usual. I also really enjoy to hear your thoughts of mind during your creation. Your skill level and attention to detail is unbelievable. Thanks for the upload and stay safe.

Dude, killer work! Thank you for showing us how you did it. It was a bummer for me to see the end result last. I wish I had seen it first, not knowing it was a miniature, to see if I would see it as a real life set or not. Edit: To clarify, this is the first time I ran into you and your video and channel. I had no idea it was miniature focused.

I think it's impressive that you can always be seen in the videos, really in your face and in your body, how you put all your energy and strength into the projects, because sometimes you look really exhausted. That's impressive, but you also have to take care of yourself. I hope you do :)

VERY kool design. It has some of the verticality I mentioned previously, even though the shots are never showing the true arrangement. It allows a lil practice with weight and structural stability for future attempts. Love this so much. Even the music, gives it a lil of the show's vibe but modernized a bit. total kudo's man! . so what kind of timeframe did it take to just 3d print all the objects for this?

I knew what you had planned as soon as you said you were actually creating 2 scenes, and it was awesome! You must have been printing for days, even with multiple printers running. I hope you have decent ventilation in your workspace. And I'm glad to see that your Inspector is still on the job. 😹 I've got 2 of them, and they also love sticks... and paper... and pens, and brushes, and anything that I'm trying to use. 🤣 That skull from the FDM printer was incredible, too. Did you make the model or did it come with the machine? I know it's not a miniature but if it's your design, I wonder if it could be incorporated into an original scene in some way, like you could use a smaller version as a carved cave wall, or a partial forest scene with this giant old skull in it, with flowering plants growing out of the mouth and the eye sockets. Sorry, I'll stop now.
@AbandonedMiniatures
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yes, all the printing took forever haha. The skull is a dice tower that's free to download from arsmoriendi3d.com

How did you make the upside down tenticles? They look so good
luar biasa 🙏🇮🇩
my dude awsome work, i just love the combo here - 3d print / video / art and eletronics. if i may i wanna shoot you a mail also, im the the process to building a hobby corner in my gaming room, i spend alot of hours in ther with work and hobbies, will this be stupid to build, if i have to be in ther for long hours, while the resin printer is on and i have maby paintet stuff too in that period + then sit there for work after + sometime sleep in there for work? i have 2 windows i can make exhaust out off , i saw some combos with carbon filters on and fans on a hose via the resin shroud to pump the air out will that be sufficent?
@AbandonedMiniatures
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The resin smell is different for everyone. Some people don’t mind it at all but I have bad allergies immediately with it and have to use a respirator mask. If you can exhaust it out a window that would help a lot but it might just depend on how it affects you!
Any advise to learn and get into miniature making and filmmaking
