    For me, I would never know where to get the parts. So it will be a forever project for me.

    It turned out looking great but as a Machinist myself the movement you had when milling had me at pucker level 10 XD Im glad it stayed in your vice

    You have to remember the footage is speed up quite abit so for me it’s quite slow and safe and finding the sweet spot where it stays in the vice or bends the part is thin margins

    oh gotcha. This was my first video I'd seen of yours. I used to work Machine shop on a Big Okuma Vert mill. and I didnt realize your footage was sped up. :)

    Haha that’s fine all the footage on all my builds is speed up otherwise it’s would be hours and hours worth of videos it’s normally x8 or even x20 speed with machining

    this is fantastic :) Whats the diameter on this once it was completed? I spose its dictated by the spindle of the hard drive isnt it? can you remember what diameter is what? Thanks for this :)

    Can a high grade military magnet bend light, if so that's the answer to real lightsaber, laser beam needs to reflect many times to form a circle and a magnet push the light like a balloon

  • @TYRANTH_

    @TYRANTH_

    4 жыл бұрын

    justin allen if a real lightsaber is ever created it will not be light it would be super cooled plasma with a magnetised field

  • @justinallen9207

    @justinallen9207

    4 жыл бұрын

    So the magnetic field would push the light beam plasma

    I dont know about you, but if i were a jedi i would NOT let my crystal chamber get so dirty. That shit would be so clean a drill Sargent would look at that and say something witty about being able to eat off it or something i dunno.

    While i love the build.... im really worried about your lathe chuck... Its not centred... at high speed it could oscillate and throw something off... Get that sorted....

  • @TYRANTH_

    @TYRANTH_

    4 жыл бұрын

    Mangy_Dog the centering is fine the table my lathe sits on is not bolted to the floor so moves slightly and I have no dampers on the bottom of my lathe so any motion from the table is directly transferred to the lathe while the camera is motionless so when footage is speed up you can see the small movements of the table.
