One day build?! This would be a 3 month project for me for sure 😂

For me, I would never know where to get the parts. So it will be a forever project for me.
It turned out looking great but as a Machinist myself the movement you had when milling had me at pucker level 10 XD Im glad it stayed in your vice

You have to remember the footage is speed up quite abit so for me it’s quite slow and safe and finding the sweet spot where it stays in the vice or bends the part is thin margins

oh gotcha. This was my first video I'd seen of yours. I used to work Machine shop on a Big Okuma Vert mill. and I didnt realize your footage was sped up. :)

Haha that’s fine all the footage on all my builds is speed up otherwise it’s would be hours and hours worth of videos it’s normally x8 or even x20 speed with machining

this is fantastic :) Whats the diameter on this once it was completed? I spose its dictated by the spindle of the hard drive isnt it? can you remember what diameter is what? Thanks for this :)

"all you need is faulty Hard drives misc parts" -- and a lathe and a milling machine and good knowledge of working with aluminum and so on so forth :).

Very cool, clear and detailed yet not boring how to... Thanks for sharing your craft!
One of if not the best crystal chamber build vids I've seen! Keep it up man your builds are always great to watch.
Absolutely amazing work
Oh man, the things I would do for that Luke ROTJ lightsaber replica. Awesome work man!

master Yoda- would say, force is not strong in you.
The student is now the master lol. Great build I'm sure you would have plenty of work in the saber community.
This guy needs more fame! Look at him do this it’s amazing!
That was cool.. great video!
Awesome Work😎 👍
Awesome work! I was actually wondering how you built this when i saw the luke saber build
Very cool
Ghu you do gorgeous work
Same goes for me , I would like one as well
Very nice I love watching your videos and how you build things will you be willing to make a nether crystal chamber for MHS version one style
love this
cool! but where did you get those brass pieces??!?!?!
NICE!
AWESOMEE!!!!!!!!
would you ever consider selling individual parts (Pommel, Crystal, emitter, ect.) on an etsy or patreon store?
Very cool! What size lathe do you have?
Could you do a two sided one that is held together in the middle by magnets. Then could be separated and used as two swords?
Wonderful work! Why do you have the mark of Tangra on your hand?
I am trying to make a Costem one for my lightsaber
Anyone have a suggestion on what kind of lathe machine to buy for this hobby. Think I would use the heck out of it.
Sick
May I ask where them crystal are from or if you made then how would be great man
Tried making one with moving/spinning/rotating parts?
Cool.. can it fit into a hilt?
what is that wedge shaped piece (at 2:18) that you are using against the end-stop? Is it a custom piece? Or commercially available? I like it.
can you put it on a saberforge lightsaber?
That was some amazing work.
Does any one know how he makes the crystals
Step one: buy thousands of dollars worth of equipment and spare parts from the last decade

Step Two: make excuses

What do you expect him to do? Not use all the equipment he has on hand and end up with a much crappier outcome

@@Ashtonj7116 exactly it’s a tutorial for the people who have the stuff
Where can i buy this
Do you sell any of the sabers you make?
Nice work. I guess you didn't have time to sand things down, like the display windows.
Olha o beat do Dudu de fundo kkkkkk
i made one also on here. not as detailed as yours though DAMN! nice
It a very silly question, but what are the tool/machine used called? Like the one at 2:14, 3:16, 5:13
Could you make me one for m V2? Please let me know
How much its amount please tell
see, now you just showing off #nice
Like I could actually do this just by watching, because I have all those tools just laying about the house
Pshhh I could do that innnnnnnn, 1 year
how
Can a high grade military magnet bend light, if so that's the answer to real lightsaber, laser beam needs to reflect many times to form a circle and a magnet push the light like a balloon
@TYRANTH_
4 жыл бұрын
justin allen if a real lightsaber is ever created it will not be light it would be super cooled plasma with a magnetised field
@justinallen9207
4 жыл бұрын
So the magnetic field would push the light beam plasma
I dont know about you, but if i were a jedi i would NOT let my crystal chamber get so dirty. That shit would be so clean a drill Sargent would look at that and say something witty about being able to eat off it or something i dunno.
While i love the build.... im really worried about your lathe chuck... Its not centred... at high speed it could oscillate and throw something off... Get that sorted....
@TYRANTH_
4 жыл бұрын
Mangy_Dog the centering is fine the table my lathe sits on is not bolted to the floor so moves slightly and I have no dampers on the bottom of my lathe so any motion from the table is directly transferred to the lathe while the camera is motionless so when footage is speed up you can see the small movements of the table.
Love the project, but next time could you choose music doesn't sound like it was lifted from the soundtrack of a porn flick?
Ahhh, pero con un torno es muy fácil. A ver si lo puedes realizar sin un torno en 1 día...
