Making a life size LEGO sword from pop cans

Ойын-сауық

This has been possibly my most ambitious project to date, taking several months and testing all sorts of new and rather dangerous skills.
Metalwork is quite tricky and can get expensive fast, but I've learned a lot of ways not to do it, so leave a comment if you have any questions!

you, sir, need to buy yourself a bench vise....and build yourself a work bench. Love the project and the effort! What is it's name? Cannabeast?

I love everything about this video! You’ve inspired me to try and make one too. It probably won’t be anytime soon but I will make one some day to hang on my wall!

Usually I'm against making weapons that are dull and/or blunt on purpose, but when it's for the sake of recreating a LEGO weapon, I gladly approve. In the weight comparison, I totally expected that gladius to go flying! The aluminum hilt looks rough, but it makes it look like it was discovered in an archeological dig, which ads a coolness factor. Paired with the lion shield, that's a mighty fine project sir.

Thanks! Turns out it's incredibly difficult to make perfect castings out of recycled metal in your backyard, but the rough character really grows on ya :)
