I made one for my son and added a detachable canvas foraging bag to the front for spent shells. It can also be used by itself.

Hey there Chuck. Long time listener, first time caller. In this specific application, with the over-sized belt loops for durability, what is the advantage of using Chicago screws instead of rivets?

Do you have a pattern for a two pocket pouch for Skeet shooting?

If you put clear fingernail polish on the threads of the Chicago screws, they will be less likely to work themselves out. Loctite works too but makes the fix irreversible which is not always wanted.

Double sided tape is horrible to stitch through. I go with white glue, works well an is at less gooey to stitch through.

Obviously using black makes this irrelevant .. I started using a RED gel pen since most leather dyes are basically a red base .. blends right in

Cutting the 4-5 oz. Gussets....why are you basicly wasting that corner of the shoulder? You squared the edge, then cut the pieces 4 to 5 inches in from the corner? "We crafters" can't do that kind of wastage, Chuck!!
