"AMAZZONIA" manufactured by La Perla Azzurra of Italy is used for most of our products. AMAZZONIA is a vegetable-tanned cowhide made from the shoulder area with high fiber density. It is made using the traditional vachetta method, which allows the oil to soak deeply into the leather, so the more you use it, the more the color changes, and the more you can fully appreciate the changes over time, making it a leather suitable for long-lasting use.

Now run a row of stitching around the belt to help prevent stretching. All those holes, which does make for a beautiful piece of work, are going to lead to eventual stretch over time.
@anshare_japan
Жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly!😆 That is why we are very careful about which part of the leather we use for this kind of design. That is also why we make it 40mm wide and thick. When making a thin belt, we should not use this design, and we may have to stitch and add a core. Leather craft is fun😁✨

@anshare_japan
Жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly!😆 That is why we are very careful about which part of the leather we use for this kind of design. That is also why we make it 40mm wide and thick. When making a thin belt, we should not use this design, and we may have to stitch and add a core. Leather craft is fun😁✨
Your smooth, good work. What's the price for one.

Do you eat the bits and scraps you punch out or trim off? I can't imagine they're super tasty, but they'd make decent filling in a good soup stock.

What surface do you cut on so that you don't damage the blade pressing hard yet it also doesn't cut through the surface either?
@anshare_japan
Жыл бұрын
With a properly sharpened blade, you should cut the leather so that the surface where the leather and the blade are installed is long. It is not like cutting by pushing, but by sliding. Thanks for commenting🥰

We are glad that you are interested in our products, but it seems that air shipments to India have been stopped, so it may take quite a while. I think it would be best if you order after the corona pandemic is over and deliveries can be made normally, so we don't have to worry about each other.
