Cool content. This is what I like about strongman and unconventional strength training is you build your own implements a lot of the time and if you have those skills either from your job or hobbies you can make some really great stuff. With the strongman community there are people who want to try new things like what they see at worlds or the Arnold and if you are known for making your own stuff and it’s good quality you can make new connections, and friends and if times are tough like the past few years you can even make a little extra money.
I build my own logpress barr, my onw axle, and recently a vikingpress attachment for the axle
As a welder I’ve made pretty much all my own training equipment, saves a hell of a lot money when you look at the price of dumbbells, bars and bespoke strongman equipment
Nice; be Bish. Heath Robinson would be proud 👍. I bet the ones they use for WSM cost a good few quid. This is spot on for the job.
Adam bishop: world's strongest carpenter
Looks a solid build , I'd just run a planer electric or hand block one over the edges just round that a bit so it isn't as likely to splinter or tear out on impact , or If you can source a metal angle trim tacked on
Looks good. Nice work Bish
nice work, cool peice of kit
keep up the content really enjoying it
Looks nice good job
Basic skills everyone should have. I might have fine with a slightly harder piece of wood across the top. Looks like those stones are going to chew it up fast. But it'll get you through the season anyway! Like this type of video content a lot. Nice job
Might want to get some lead on the top to save the wood getting battered over time by the stone.
Proper job mate, you could have made an X shape cut with a handsaw, then leveled it off at the end to save you using the chissel. But it looks the business, well done.
Looking good.
looks pretty good to me bish !
If it works, it works 😆
Nice vid
Thoroughly enjoyed the video but couldn't the yoke have been used as a makeshift hitching post? Or is there a subtle difference between the hitching post and the yoke?
For the stone, I just cannot understand how you strongmen doesn't injure your backs in the transition where you have your backs rounded forward and you extend... My disks would have exploded in that position....
Maybe ask Coomers or Screwfix in Bordon to sponsor your next DIY strongman project 😄
Made it in the first five comments. I’m a beast. Lol
Nice! Some different content, too. Maybe a new hobby once you retire from competing. Ha! 😜 Have a nice day.
